If you would like to learn how to drive a steam locomotive, you will get the following tuition :
a safety briefing
an introduction to railway driving
firing up, and oiling a locomotive
summary and hands on experience of driving and maintaining the locomotive
one free adult return ticket to witness the event
The minimum age for the experience is 8 years and you must wear long sleeves and trousers or boiler suit. Do expect to get dirty. An orange safety jacket will be provided.
