July / August / September 2005

A lot of work has recently been carried out by students of the 'Thunderer Squadron', based in Southampton, as part of our future plans.  They carried out tasks such as track laying, track ballasting, painting, edging and general maintenance - all of these projects bringing the planned improvements that much nearer.  Many thanks to everyone who so willingly helped us during the summer.

Winter 2006

The Santa Special trains were fully booked (no train had more than 10 children on it so that Santa can spend plenty of time with each child) and many who had not booked were disappointed as there were no spaces available.  Places need to be booked early and some have already been booked for 2006 !!

Happy New Year to all and many thanks to everyone who supported us throughout 2005.

The railway is open every weekend and at present all the usual maintenance, etc. is taking place.
