The Royal Victoria Country Park is open all year round and has plenty of facilities, including a cafe and picnic areas. There are ample car park spaces (note there is a small charge for these). The railway can be found in the centre of the park, opposite the Chapel. The main station, Piccadilly is up the path to the left side of Chapel Road Station and then to the right. The railway is open every weekend and all school holidays from 11am until 4:30pm (last train 4:15pm).
